Type A has a unique approach to business organizing. While most consultants have switched careers from the service and office administration professions, Diane Snead is a Mechanical Engineer and former project manager for multi-million dollar commercial projects. After spending years helping clients in an engineering setting, she found she enjoyed the management and organizational side of the business. It is this combination of engineering and interpersonal skills that creates a unique and strong foundation for Type A Professional Organizers.
In early 2009, Diane founded Type A Professional Organizers, LLC, a productivity consulting company located in Colorado Springs, CO with a focus on increasing revenue and decreasing stress in local businesses. Diane now consults with and presents to large and small businesses in addition to successfully handling the stresses of running her own growing company.
Technology is a recent topic of interest for her clients, and her knowledge, especially in Microsoft Outlook, has enabled hundreds of professionals to better manage their email. Diane’s articles on reducing email clutter have been published internationally.
Diane has given numerous dynamic presentations and is a frequent guest speaker for the SBDC, SCORE, and the BBB. Her keynote presentations are always well attended.
Furthering her training, Diane Snead is a Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, a process improvement methodology utilized by Fortune 500 companies to save billions annually.
